VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Hi Everyone, As the summer holidays come up and people are going away, we're looking to expand our little group of volunteers, so that we can continue to meet the many needs of the homeless and the vulnerable in the south of Tenerife. And that's where you come in!

Are you free on a Monday or Friday 10h - 15h?

You may have the skills to help us in the work we do face to face with our clients. We offer a listening ear, serve meals and drinks, offer help with paperwork and provide them with fresh clothes and toiletries and food to take away. There's also lots of other stuff which needs done to make the face to face stuff happen which wouldn't involve direct contact with our clients - cleaning, organising, setting up beforehand and tidying away afterwards as well as some administration tasks. training / shadowing will be provided.

What skills are we looking for?

• - A willingness to work as part of a team
• - The ability to offer non-judgemental listening to people
• - A decent dose of common sense
• - The ability to speak spanish (or any other language) is a huge advantage, as is having a car, but these are not essential.

We can't offer any pay, but the job satisfaction is priceless!
